That is encouraging! And perfectly normal, unless you have local echo
set up on the Kaypro or the Mac is echoing back the characters that it
receives.

Yeah, I'm listening, John. Trouble is, I have never used Kermit in my
life and have no experience with data link on a II - though it
shouldn't be all that different from a 4 or 10. But I may have to
try.
